LUX Airport (Findel)
Many of my travels often start from Luxembourg.
It's not a very small airport with short distances and it's only a 30-minute drive from me.
LuxAir offers either feeder flights to the hubs but also has many European cities as destinations.
LH, Swiss or Austrian also offer flights from LUX to their hubs, so I don't have to spend extra time driving to FRA (2 hours).
The airport has 2 terminals: one with bridges and one for turbo-props or small aircraft that you board without a bridge or gangway.
And yes, I often fly with little luggage. But it is optimized so that I can carry everything myself.
Lounge
Before departure, a Cremant in the lounge is actually a must.
The time to the vacation destination (and back) is also part of the vacation for me and I really enjoy that.
I'm happy when I can take a companion with me due to my Gold status. Very practical for family trips.
